The birth and death dates and maybe a quote. But the thing is\u2026 The most important mark on a tombstone is the little dash between the birth and death dates. In this short horizontal line, you find the entire life of this person, all the experiences, the joys, the sadness, the first steps and first words spoken, the struggles of growing into an adult, the first job, children, grandchildren, voyages, and one million other things\u2026 All this in this little dash!<\/p>\n<p>So what do you want your friends and family to say the day of your memorial?<br \/>\nDo you want them to tell how they had so much fun partying with you and how they\u00a0laugh\u00a0so loud when you destroyed the neighbor pool with the garden tractor after you drank a bit too much?<br \/>\nOr what about if they tell how you helped so many people, how you lived a special life, how you were different from everybody by doing great things the majority of the world will never do?<\/p>\n<p>Do you want to have a life that counts and be remembered by all the persons that you had a great influence in their lives?<br \/>\nThat\u2019s what I want for me, and that\u2019s the journey I\u2019m in.<\/p>\n<p>*Thanks for reading, Patric J.
